Verification and privacy

Every account has a stamp

New accounts join the verification queue as Unverified. Stamps go up with checks and down when certificates lapse, inspections fail, ratings stay poor or someone tries to take trade off the platform.

Privacy mode

• Everyone trades under a nickname. You prove an account is yours through its own trade history.
• Real names, phone numbers, addresses and bank details live in an encrypted vault.
• They are released only to trusted parties — such as NAQS, NAFDAC, the partner bank or the insurer — or to your counterparty when a legal document requires it, and you are told every time.
• Phone numbers, emails, links and bank numbers are removed from messages, listings and photos (photo location data is stripped).
• Repeated attempts to move trade off Oxi lead to a warning, a downgrade, then suspension.

Ratings

After every completed deal both sides rate each other from 1 to 5 stars and can comment, within 14 days. Ratings can’t be edited; the rated party can reply once. Dispatch and storage are rated separately from the goods trade.
