Trade under your nickname
Your real name, phone and bank details stay in an encrypted vault. Buyers and sellers see your nickname, your verification stamp and your ratings — nothing else.
Why: most trade fraud starts with contact details. A scammer who has your number can pose as Oxi or as your buyer, ask for "fees" or bank codes, or pull you into a side deal where escrow no longer protects your money or goods. Keeping identities private also stops anyone using the platform to find out who holds valuable produce or cash, or where they are. Your identity is released only to a party you trust, such as a lender or certifier, and every release is logged.
Oxi never asks for your code. Only type it on an Oxi site. No one from Oxi will ever call or message you for it.
